The Panther Press is thrilled to announce a new way of keeping our audience informed! We are launching a video broadcast to complement the newspaper. This 10-minute video will be released every Monday, covering a variety of topics and updates to keep students engaged and up-to-date with school and world news. The videos will be available on our website and our YouTube channel, @nortonpantherpress.
Each episode will feature a variety of segments to keep viewers informed. It will begin with school announcements, providing a quick rundown of key events, activities, and reminders for the week. The broadcast will also highlight student news, showcasing student achievements, club activities, and upcoming school events. Additionally, it will include community news, offering updates on local events that may interest or impact students. Finally, the broadcast will cover world news, delivering brief but relevant updates on global happenings to help students stay aware of events beyond the school.
Ava, the Panther Press editor-in-chief and treasurer, spearheaded the creation of the broadcast. When asked about the project, she said, “I decided to start this broadcast because I thought it would be a great way to expand the newspaper and make it easier for students to stay informed and engaged. It also serves as a way for students to connect with what’s happening around them in a fun, visual format. I hope this broadcast will create a stronger sense of community, keep everyone informed, and offer a new, fun way for students to get involved. We’re filming the first episode this week, and I look forward to sharing it soon!” Get ready for an exciting and innovative way to stay connected with your school, community, and the world around you!
