Camden Kline was a student of Norton who graduated last year with the class of 2023. Cam
enlisted into the Navy during a remote swear-in ceremony at Cleveland Military Processing Station. He will be stationed at the Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) in San Diego. "I joined the Navy to further my education, take advantage of the many benefits of service, and protect the country," said Cam. He attended his training in July 2023, with follow-on training as an Electrician's mate (EM). Electricians Mates watch generators, switchboards, control equipment, and electrical equipment. They perform organizational and intermediate maintenance on power and lighting circuits and other necessary equipment. They test for
short circuits, and grounds, and rebuild electrical equipment, including solid-state circuitry elements. We all thank Cam for setting a fantastic example for all of Norton City Schools' students and wish him all the best!
